Where to Find Free Groceries in Texas and California (March 23–28, 2026)

Families in Texas and California who are looking for extra help with groceries can access several free food distribution events this week.

These programs are designed to be easy to use, and you do not need to sign up in advance or deal with complicated paperwork.
 

Food Distribution in North Texas

The North Texas Food Bank (NTFB) and Catholic Charities Dallas are hosting mobile food pantries. These are open to any low-income residents.

What you need to provide:

When you arrive, you only need to share three things:
 

• Your name.
• How many people are in your family.
• Your home zip code.
